Lisa Ahern

Lisa Ahern joined RSP as the Associate Director in November 2021. As well as being UNI's IRB Administrator, she is tasked with providing support to UNI Centers and Institutes, promoting research compliance efforts, and leading RSP's Capacity Grant program.  Lisa earned her Masters in Public Administration from Ball State University in Muncie, IN and a Bachelors in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University. Prior to UNI, Lisa worked with local government and nonprofit organizations to advance community initiatives through grant writing, compliance and program management. Lisa enjoys volunteering, being outdoors, and supporting the activities of her family.
