Sean Parrish

Sean helps provide resources and information related to funding opportunities for grant proposals as well as assists with proposal development, preparing budgets, and the submission process for these external opportunities. As a part of the Preaward team, he also helps with research development and training related to seeking external funding opportunities. Sean earned a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago, with prior experience including non-profit work and freelance writing. Before coming to UNI, he spent ten years as an ecommerce manager for Goodwill. When not writing or working in his yard, he enjoys attending his wife's performances with the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony and spending time with his cat, Tory.
